Royal Holloway College: new microscopes for the new academic year

Working with Microscope Service and Sales, the Geography Department of Royal Holloway College have acquired a new suite of microscopes to meet the needs of their increasing number of undergraduate geography students.

Microscope Service and Sales Engineers John Groulef, Mark Scott and Ian Nash were all on site installing and aligning the suite of new Olympus CX23 microscopes so they were all in great working order for the arrival of new students at the start of the academic year. cx23-royal-holloway-rotated

Claire Mayers Technical Operations Manager for the department wrote to say:

“We are very excited to receive our new microscopes which have been purchased to support our undergraduate teaching and to upgrade our current stock of microscopes.
With an increasing number of undergraduate students each year it is important that we provide the equipment required for their academic development.
The service from Microscope Service and Sales Ltd was fantastic. Quotes were provided quickly and once ordered we were kept notified of progress.  The team that attended to install the microscopes were friendly and very helpful despite the awkward access arrangements of our laboratory”.
